Staying Connected With Your Customers

Email autoresponder marketing is the follow up tool you use for your customers. It maintains contact with your customers after the first contact.

An autoresponder allows you to thank your web visitor and keep the visitor up-to-date. Business is about establishing relationships with your visitors. You rarely establish relationships with visitors with your first contact.

Relationships are established over time. Your autoresponder allows you to stay in touch with the visitor. You want the visitor to remember you.

Autoresponders send instantaneous messages to web visitors at certain time frames. You could send the messages that day, next week, next month, next quarter, or next year. The important thing is to develop a system to maintain contact with the visitor. Examples of what to communicate to the visitor at certain time frames:

-Next Day-->Thank the visitor for some immediate action that was taken.

-Next Week-->Remind the visitor about an appointment coming up that week.

-Next Month-->Provide some up-to-date information to the visitor.

-Next Quarter-->Check up on the visitor to see how things are going.

So autoresponders maintain a connection to your visitors and can also be used to educate them.

Use autoresponders as part of your total website marketing strategy.
